Keep tenant status obvious
Admins should always be able to see whether the tenant is really active. That state is not decorative. It determines whether users can activate and whether the product can be used normally.
That is why Travel Time surfaces tenant state in admin and portal rather than burying it in one place.
Use defaults to reduce friction
Strong defaults for origin, target category, routing behaviour and travel title templates reduce user confusion. New users should not start with empty or contradictory settings if the tenant already knows the basic operating model.
Users still keep room to override the most personal parts of their setup.
Focus on operation, not feature sprawl
The admin area works best when it concentrates on setup, status and clarity. Trying to turn it into a full user-management suite would add complexity without helping the core product value.
